Perfect Praise, Inc. has developed piano-based teaching curriculum, services and programs for every member of your family, from 12 weeks to piano lessons for senior citizens ? and every age in between. Our non-traditional curriculum works for children with autism or adults with dementia.

How long have you been in business?
Early Childhood Music began in 1998 in Muscle Shoals Alabama with four students. We have grown to become an international company.
What is your primary product or service?
Early Childhood Music is a piano-based, preschool music program. it is fun, partner based, piano based and fun. Children attend music class with their parent or guardian, and actively particpate on musical instruments: bells, egg shakers, maracas, drums, tambourines and more. We include fun, movement, ear training and the piano.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Michael and Denie Riggs are the founding directors for ECM. Denie has taught piano for 45 years and has always wanted to include the very young student. In 1998, based on music benefit research for the 3 year old, she began to write her own curriculum which has been very successful and created amazing results both academically and musically in the preschool child.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Although we are a Christian company, and our program includes Christian music, not all of our student families are Christian. They are aware of the Christian aspect from the start and don't seem to mind, as they enjoy the benefits for their children. Early Childhoood Music serves as a department of Perfect Praise, Inc.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Michael and Denie Riggs currently administrate three ECM schools locally. Our founding school, the Muscle Shoals Music Academy in Muscle Shoals Alabama, our Huntsville School in the AB Stephens Music store, 2828 Drake Avenue in Huntsville. Denie also teaches ECM at Valley Fellow Christian Academy on Holmes Avenue in Huntsville, where every child age 3- fourth grade received piano-based musical training as part of their curriculum. ECM curriculum is available for other schools to teach in other cities. ECM is being taught in many surrounding area schools and in the Carribean.
Which areas do you service?
In addition to Early Childhood Music, Michael and Denie Riggs also teach guitar, piano and 50+Piano, a class for senior adults.
