How long have you been in business?
Creature Comforts Pet Services was started back in June of 2008, by Mike and Liz Davenport. Liz had been pet sitting for several people already and finally with the help of her husband they decided to start Creature Comforts.
What is your primary product or service?
Pet sitting, Pet visits, mid day walks for your pet, over night stays, basically spoiling your pet and giving them as much love as you do while you are away. We make extra efforts to do everything we can to give your dog added security and of course fun while you are away.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After adopting a Cane Corso Mastiff that had been neglected, Liz noticed how stressed he would get after boarding, although he was getting good physical care emotionally he needed more. Also people who have older dogs or dogs that suffer from separation anxiety also benefit from staying in their own homes.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have a certification in obedience instruction so while I am sitting for or walking your pets, I can spot behavioral problems or issues and help in correcting them during the time I spend with your pet and this is a service my clients get at no extra cost to them.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
This doesn't really apply to us since we go to peoples homes.
